Blackboard Patent Activity

Activity on the Blackboard patent case picked up this week.

• Today,  Desire2Learn filed for an Inter Partes Reexamination of Blackboard's patent with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).

• On November 17th, the Software Freedom Law Center on behalf of Sakai, Moodle, and ATutor filed for an ex parte reexamination. 

• Finally, filed for a Motion for a Stay of Proceedings in the Eastern District of Texas.
