Adopting Open Source in a Non Profit Environment

Here is a link to my presentation given at Grassroots Use of Technology Conference. It's entitled "Adopting Open Source in a Non Profit Environment."

I tried to address the following questions in the talk:

  • What is open source?
  • Is there a business case for open source?
  • What due diligence needs to be performed in selecting open source software?
  • Where is open source going?
  • What is MIT's vision of open source and open content?

The Q&A sessions focused on how to position non-profits to take advantage of open source.
